Antonio Jemison as John Hurston

Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Antonio began his journey of standing out as a child in church by reciting "T'was The Night Before Christmas" my memory at age 4. He grew up in the church and became a lead singer in the children's choir.

Antonio joined the military after high school serving 6 years in the United States Army as a Satellite Communications Specialist. Returning home after service he became choir director and advisor to the youth at his church. He would later relocate to Atlanta, Georgia where he was discovered while singing at karaoke night.

 

With no formal training he auditioned for his first stage play and was awarded the lead role. Antonio then began to find himself in various other projects including other stage plays and independent movies even landing in an episode of TV One's Fatal Attraction (season 7 episode 20). Along with his acting career Antonio is currently the live streaming on-air media personality for internet radio station 420 2Lit Radio and hosts his own weekly podcast called Mansplainin…which provides a platform for Men to discuss life, for Independent Artist to be heard and for business owners to market.
