Mahogany Raspberry as Zora Neale Hurston

Mahogany Raspberry recognized her passion for entertaining at an early age. The Mobile, Alabama native started gracing audiences with her talents at the tender age of 21. Though her

pursuit of happiness began in music, she quickly realized that the blues market circuit made her a big fish in a little pond and she set her sights on the adjacent city of dreams, Atlanta, GA.

In 2022 she was nominated and awarded “Best Supporting Actress at the '' Atlanta Dcem Awards, and was even recognized for “Peace and Unity” amongst the African Americans and the Africans, officiated and crowned Queen of the Igbo Tribe as Queen Ngozi, the Igbo word for “blessings”.

Mahogany is best known for Martel Taylor’s (In A Split Second) as Faith Robinson, and M Head Production (Can’t Get Rite) as Grandma Dirty. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
